Howdy folks! I’m back from a long enough (and well-deserved) vacation with some exciting news! I’ve been invited to appear on my first San Diego Comic-Con panel by Apex Comics Group founder Mariano Nicieza.

SDCC is the mecca of all comic cons, and it’s been a white whale of mine to appear on a panel there. I’ve had the privilege of being featured or moderate panels at NYCC, C2E2, Planet Comic Con to name a few so consider this an achievement unlocked!

So what’s the panel all about? Glad you asked!

Almost fifteen years ago Mariano Nicieza approached me about doing a crossover with his character Phazer for the War of the Independents mega event that Sire was also appearing in. Featuring fan favorites like The Tick, Madman, Zen, and more, the four-issue mini-series hit quite a snags along the way to finally reaching its conclusion.

Meanwhile, it didn’t stop Mariano and I from commissioning artist Soussherpa and crafting this one-shot known as Lost In Time. which went on to become The Sire: Chapter 10 and headlined the Sire Vol 2 TPB.

So without giving too much away, just note there was a TON of material from Lost In Time that was NOT used in the original Sire two-parter. And, if you check out the list of panelists I’ll be joining below, there’s some brand new material in the works!
